Don’t auto refresh my feeds on startup.. Sometimes I don’t want to wait for them to update… just want to see one of the old ones and I can hit refresh myself anyway
Change the icons/app titles of each version to have that language’s flag. Otherwise people who buy multiple versions won’t be able to tell the difference
I need the ability to open text and other files and speak the contents of each file. It would be nice to also speak the contents of hexadecimal and binary files too. The ability to dump a screen Snapshot, run it through Text to OCR conversion and then speak the text output; would be nice also. I haven’t been able to find an iPhone App to do this. If I can’t find an App to do this I suppose I will have to Download the iPhone SDK kit and teach myself iPhone programming. This would seem to be a waste of time to write just one iPhone App.

When reading a feeds articles in sequence, reading the headline (along with a short pause at the end ) before the main article text would be helpful. I second Google reader support. The ability to choose which feeds you want read from Google reader would also be helpful and have them read in sequence. It’s like creating your custom news radio station, spending most of my day behind the wheel makes your app invaluable. Keep up the good work.

Hi. A german translation would be great! And it would be great to have a “pro”-version that includes all languages and offers the setting of a language for each rss source.
My most pressing suggestion is integration with google reader (which I hope you are already working on). I currently use google reader along with my iPhone RSS app (NewsRack, which syncs with my google reader account). These readers are full featured and it doesn’t make sense for me to switch or duplicate the aggregation and organization I’ve made on these readers. Rather, I want to be using RSSpeaker when I am unable (driving, around the house, etc.). Syncing with google reader will allow for seamless integration with them all.
The Spanish voice sounds a bit robotic.
Would be nice to download images and all the feed.
I have to see every feed to download them to my Ipod. Could not download the complete feeds when updating without having to see each feed?
When I lock my iPod the sound is off. It Would be nice if the app continue reading while the iPod is locked to avoid high battery consumption.
Great app. Two main issues are: 1) Refresh time is very long when there is a large number of feeds in the user’s list. Would be food if the app had some functionality during refresh; for instance, if it allowed reading or even speaking of feeds and preference option for manual refresh. As it is now, it’s tied up for a couple of minutes or more. 2) Please make RSSpeaker smarter in how it chooses speakable text on a feed. Would be nice to have titles and, in the case of very short synopses, even deep-linked whole stories retrieved and spoken.
Please print the whole title of the RSS article because very important information is usually contained in it (do not chop it off). Reading the entire title first would be great. Is it possible to print the entire body of the article? Or at least increase the amount of characters allowed per feed. Usually the feed gets cut much too soon. What is the maximum amount of feeds the app can reasonably handle before it goes into overload?? Please do not refresh automatically.
Also, the capability to vary the number of feeds desired from different RSS sources.
The voice speed needs a number scale.
Play All Button needed for all feeds from all subscriptions.
Add Voice command where I can ask it to read only head lines, read details of the story or skip to next topic or entry.
